We were approached by local Alresford company Chocolate Craft, to produce a web based ordering system for a new "party plan" arm of their business, Chocolate Craft at Home. It had to be simple, yet functional, for their remote consultants to be able to place orders with their head office. This was a custom built system with a custom content management system to allow their head office to control the product catalogue and, importantly, the product bundles within their catalogue.The consultants needed the ability to plan their parties, enter and administer orders without the need for contact with the head office.
The head office needed to be able to have an overview of the financial status of the orders and also to be able to print pick lists for their packers (combining all orders from a single party in a single list) as well as marking orders as shipped.
